May you achieve instant success and wealth! With the Year of the Horse approaching, the Weaver Girl’s daily routine is quietly evolving. These past few days, I’ve been showcasing my skills, crocheting adorable and powerful little horses, stitch by stitch, to express my blessings. Soft yarn weaves through my fingertips; each loop is a heartfelt gesture, each stitch a wish, letting good fortune gallop into our lives with these little horses.
In Buddhism, facing difficulties is never about escaping, but about learning to combine self-reliance with divine blessings. Namo Amitabha Buddha, Namo Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, Namo Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, Namo Amitabha Buddha. Deeply believing in cause and effect, I view adversity as an opportunity to eliminate karmic obstacles and cultivate myself, using wisdom to subdue my mind and compassion to nourish the future. Just like the process of crocheting these little horses, seemingly complex, they take shape step by step through patience and focus. Suffering is the process; beauty is the accumulation.
In the new year, perhaps there’s no need to rush to prove anything; simply find a direction you’re willing to pursue for the long term. Let the Year of the Horse pony be your guardian and reminder—be brave and forward-looking, steady and grounded, kind-hearted, and good fortune will come naturally.
